Extra Attic Self-Storage Gives Back

Service doesn’t stop at our customers; that is actually just where it begins. Since our inception, Extra Attic Self-Storage has been dedicated to giving back to the many communities we call home. Each of our self-storage facilities – From North Raleigh to Morrisville – takes the time to sign on with local non-profit groups and charities. These include nearby church organizations, health and wellness support groups, and even expands to national communities like the American Cancer Society. One storage unit per facility is automatically dedicated as complementary storage for a charity from the area in which the facility is located.

Our many location managers and staff have also given back through organized community events, and in more directs ways. For example, whenever a client no longer needs some of his or her items that they’ve kept in our self-storage facilities, our staff helps ensure they are donated to the appropriate places. As a family-owned business, Extra Attic understands and embraces the need to pass usable items along to those in need. And the more space your own unit has, the greater potential for you to declutter your own home or business.Because we have so many locations in different parts of North Carolina, we’ve been fortunate to work with these and many other charitable and community-oriented organizations:

  • American Cancer Society
  • Girl Scouts of the USA
  • North Raleigh United Methodist Church
  • Moose Lodge
  • Helping Hand Mission
  • Kiwanis Club of Raleigh
  • Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation
  • Leukemia Society of America
  • Meals on Wheels

If your charitable organization or local fundraising opportunity needs some community support, contact Extra Attic Self-Storage and learn more about how we can assist! Our customers and communities are the backbones of our business and we are here to help. After all, we’ve have the room to spare!
